Assistant Accountant

Main Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of various balance sheet
- Analytical and detailed review of overhead variance analysis
- Assisting Finance Business Partner for Business Services in preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Supporting the production of the year-end accounts and preparation of relevant information for the external auditors
Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Assistant Accountant:
- Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA (Accountancy graduates or Advanced AAT students will also be considered)
- Experience of working in a finance department
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communicator
- Organised and able to handle multiple deadlines
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well within a team environment
