This opportunity is a fantastic first or second move into a busy finance role, you will support the European financial controller to manage month end accounts for a multisite business.

Client Details

This company are currently a market leader within the specialised energy sector. The business are rapidly growing both naturally and through acquisition, and have a large accountancy function based on the Wirral.

Description

This Assistant Management Accountant opportunity will include responsibility of allocated locations to perform the following key responsibilities;

  • Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheets)
  • Controlling general accruals and pre payments
  • Working closely with site managers and regional managers to influence operational activities, controlling costs and maintain controllable processes
  • Production on various daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting
  • Reviewing daily stock process for both procured and manufacturing products to ensure accuracy of COGS and process any corrections
  • Prepare and present slides alongside the site manager at a monthly performance review of sites that you are supporting
  • Forecasting and budgeting - monthly, quarterly and annually.

    • Profile

    The ideal candidate for this Assistant Management Accountant position will match the following criteria;

  • Graduate within in finance with a minimum of 2.1 grade
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience working within an accounts assistant role
  • Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
  • Early stages CIMA active study
  • Excellent Microsoft excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
