Our exclusive client is one of the fastest growing manufacturing businesses in the UK, supplying all major UK retailers within the sector. They now require an experienced finance business partner / commercial accountant with extensive manufacturing experience to partner with Key business functions and drive performance forward.

Description

This is a highly commercial role finance business partner / commercial accountant role which will require you to partner closely with the sales, procurement and operations functions.

You will play a key role in driving financial performance within the business, supporting the key business functions, actively providing strategic insight into financial results, establishing a foundation for forward planning as well as identifying and executing process and systems improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic insight into business performance
• Cost Accounting
• Measure, report upon and analyse business and financial performance
• Monitor and review performance v plan / v budget
• Product profitability analysis / SKU analysis
• Review commercial proposals
• Support tenders and new product listing processes

It is essential that you have good experience of costing within a manufacturing environment.

Profile

The successful candidate will be highly commercial and likely to have operated in a similar commercial accountant / finance business partner role.

You will most likely be formally qualified - ACA, ACCA OR CIMA.

You should also ideally have good experience of manufacturing or fmcg in an industry focused on gross margins, cost accounting and job costing.

Job Offer

Basic salary of up to £60,000 + benefits.
