This is an award winning, well known, global business, with over just 20 years experience in their field. Although they have offices all over the world, they are headquartered in Leeds City Centre, in fantastic offices located close to the train station.
THE JOB:
The business are now looking to recruit a Group Management Accountant into a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller.
The key duties of this role will include:
Reporting & forecasting
Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate management, statutory and regulatory information for UK 2 entities
Preparation and monitoring of Budgets and forecasts
Develop and maintain a robust financial control environment
Provide financial analytical support for commercial projects and future product development
Monthly and quarterly regulatory capital reporting
Ad hoc commercial to support and evaluate strategic initiatives
Champion, lead, monitor and embed a culture of strong internal control and risk management throughout your areas of responsibility.
Ensure that control deficiencies and risk impacts are escalated so that root cause analysis can be performed and remedial actions taken.
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will:
Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified - Essential
Have a minimum of 3 years experience in management accounts - Essential
Have excellent communication skills - Essential
Have an advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
