Role Title: Senior Group Financial Accountant
Reporting to: FP&A and Group Reporting Manager
Division: Finance Department / Section: Group Finance
ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Group Financial Accountant is an integral part of the Group Finance team. This person will report to the FP&A and Group Reporting Manager. The successful candidate will take sole responsibility for a range of areas, as well as working as part of the team on certain projects.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (Overview)
Production of quarterly Group Consolidation (Group Income Statement, Group Balance Sheet, Group Cashflow Statement, etc.).
Primary liaison for Group Annual Audit and Group Interim Review.
Responsible for the 5 Day Close for Head Office entities.
Responsible the budgeting and forecasting process for Head Office companies.
Liaising with tax advisors on Group tax issues and reporting.
Carry out project work as required.
Other related duties as outlined by Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge)
Qualified Accountant (Chartered);
Circa 3- 5 years post qualification experience;
Proven track record of delivering financial outputs to a high standard and on time.
SKILLS
Technical & Non technical
Highly capable in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in other Microsoft Office products.
Ability to adapt to new systems
Ability to take on responsibility and own chunks of work
Ability to communicate effectively with outsourcing companies, FCs, FDs and Senior Management team as required
Ability to demonstrate an attention to detail in the performance of duties.
Ability to review processes with a view to improving them.

Well organised and capable of planning workload
Ability to work to deadlines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
