Finance Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a prestigious real estate firm based in central London.

My client is a listed real estate firm based in central London with over £1bn AUM.

Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of the group's financial accounts (IFRS)
• Preparation and submission of the group's UK tax and VAT returns;
• Providing technical advice regarding IFRS and their application to the company and facilitating discussions with external auditors on technical queries as required;
• Manage the cash flow management and treasury functions within the group;
• Managing the risks and internal controls of the financial accounting and treasury functions of the group;
• Assist with the preparation of results and other related announcements
• Manage the group's compliance with all debt covenants including reporting requirements;
• Manage and coaching of junior staff members;
• Audit preparation and managing the audit process;
• Assist with the preparation of the annual integrated report;
• Information packs for board sub-committee meetings
• Facilitating the supplier invoice approval and payment process ensuring adherence to the groups policies;
• Managing and liaising with service providers in various jurisdictions
• Ad-hoc projects relating to the Company as required

Profile

The successful Finance Manager will have the following:

• Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience within the Real Estate and Property/Fund/Construction sector
• Experience producing financial statements under IFRS (or auditing them).
• Experience with group consolidations
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills

Job Offer

Basic salary of between £70,000 & £75,000 + excellent bonus potential
