My client is launching their UK operation in September and are looking to hire someone to run the finance function and get involved with the day-to-day running of the business. They are launching a new wellness drink that contains essential vitamins and minerals - backed by a very wealthy Italian family.

My client is luanching a wellness drink that contains essential vitamins and minerals in the UK in Spetember 2019. Backed by a very wealthy Italian family, they have huge aspirations for the business and want to hire someone to run the finance function and help with the daily growth of the business.

Description

* Preparation and analysis of the company's monthly management accounts, profit and loss reforecasts and cash flow

* Management of the company's balance sheet

* Day to day management of cash

* Management of foreign currency including reforecasts, derivatives and year end revaluations

* Responsible for VAT, Commodity and Duty Codes

* Responsible for CAPEX management

* Lead year-end audit and corporation tax matters

* Oversee and improve the monthly commercial sales reporting

* Assist with setting margin policy for the business

* Preparation of monthly board packs and other financial reporting

* Responsible for management of our accounting system and commercial tools ensuring they are fit for purpose. Proposing of new tools and processes

* Drive cost savings and efficiency's within the business

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with minimal supervision and training

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
  • Experience across a wide range of accounting areas: account payable, accounts receivable, management accounting, FP&A and commercial
  • Team management and development experience
  • High integrity
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision preferred
  • Experience in FMCG preferred
