Group Financial Controller

5 WORKING DAYS POSITION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To be responsible for the financial and accounting functions of the group companies.
Direct and oversee all financial activities of the group including preparation and presentation of financial statements and management reports and analysis well as other ad-hoc reports.
To ensure the group financial statements and reports are in compliance with Malaysia accounting standards.
Responsible for the group tax planning, compliance and reporting.
Overall responsibility for financial and accounting team and managing the workload and productivity of each staff.
Maintain productive communication with other departments.
To continuously review and improve finance and accounts efficiency and effectiveness.
To be responsible for the group's enterprise risk management.
To ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad listing rules and regulations and Securities Commission regulations.
To oversee corporate governance and sustainability initiatives.
Reporting to the Audit Committees of Board of Directors on quality results and any other ad-hoc matters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate (ACCA / CIMA / MACPA / CPA / MIA), Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
Must be a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
At least 7 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (require to deal with mandarin speaking management).
Familiar with approved accounting standards, group consolidation, taxation and other regulatory financial reporting requirements of a listed company.
Strong Microsoft Excel hands on knowledge.
Proactive and able to work under tight deadlines.
Meticulous and possess a methodical approach.
Strong analytical, problem solving and leader skills.
Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
