Our client is looking for a Financial Accountant to their team who will be reporting to the head of Finance.
The successful candidate will provide financial support and direction as part of the Finance Function have have responsibility for reporting financial accounts, management accounts and other information.
Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Preparation of annual financial statements.
• Preparation and management of balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Preparation of cash flow projections, forecasts and capital expenditure reports.
• Preparation of the annual budget.
• Responsible for VAT and CT filings and liaising with tax advisors.
• Assist in insurance renewal and costing of same.
• Supporting Heads of Functions with departmental costings.
• Preparation & review of Finance policies & procedures.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of group wide controls and processes.
• Assisting in adhoc reports and project work as required.
Required
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA & CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
• Excellent IT/financial systems experience.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.

• Ability to fully integrate into the Finance Team and support the site operations team
• Be prepared to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
• Strong technical ability.
• Strong analytical and excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Demonstrate initiative.
• Be self-motivated and prepared to be flexible when the occasion demands.
• Good communicator - verbal & written.
• Team player.
• Strong Business Acumen.
