TransNational is seeking a new member for our FP&A team in this high growth opportunity! The Financial Analyst I opportunity includes the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans, financial performance evaluations and reporting, transactional support, and the development and maintenance of budget and financial planning systems, models and key processes.

The Financial Analyst I opportunity will provide mentorship and professional development, along with the ability to make a large impact cross–functionally.

  • Model various financial conditions related to the organization's business operations
  • Analyze, and provide summary of the organization's trends in sales, finance, and the general business conditions
  • Provide financial information and support to the organization's management, corporate functions, and also positions within the organization's field operations, per manager's discretion
  • Work with the organization's Operations team to accurately compile and manage financial data, per manager's discretion.
  • Reconcile daily settlement from processors
  • Manage pin debit exception process
  • Analyzes, combines, and consolidates financial information into documents that accurately report financial activity of the assigned organizations
  • Ability to complete tasks as assigned per managers discretion
  • Ability to extract data from the data warehouse for analytical purposes
  • Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, & packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data for reports
  • The ability to analyze and compile financial information in preparation of complex journal entries to general ledger, assisting and supporting accounting, as needed
  • Initiate and/or coordinate approval of repetitive and non–repetitive ACH transfers, reserve moves and funding transfers
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Assist with various reporting projects and departments as needed
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • 0–2 years of experience in Corporate Finance or Accounting function
The successful candidate must be willing to and/or possess the following:
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile, interpret and summarize data
  • Knowledge of financial calculations, reporting, and valuation methodologies
  • Detail oriented with strong aptitude for problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal, decision–making, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical & computer skills, Excel is a MUST
  • Knowledge of SQL
