My client is a large company based near Luton looking to recruit an International Business Unit Financial Controller to join their finance team, with an immediate start. With the opportunity for an extension on the initial 3 month contract, you will be responsible for providing accurate reporting of all international operations, including month end control and the reporting process.

BUSINESS UNIT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
My client is a large company based near Luton looking to recruit an International Business Unit Financial Controller to join their finance team, with an immediate start. With the opportunity for an extension on the initial 3 month contract, you will be responsible for providing accurate reporting of all international operations, including month end control and the reporting process.
Key responsibilities for this role;
- Responsible for the accurate reporting of all international operations.
- Responsible for the completion of month end control and reporting process.
- Timely and accurate delivery of management reports.
- Act as the finance business partner and controller to the FDs and FCs globally.
- Ensure that International finance teams provide robust balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Provide detailed technical expertise on IFRS and other accounting issues to the international FDs when needed.
- Full responsibility for liaising with External and internal auditors on year end and half year results.
- Ensure robust controls are in place but working with teams across the international businesses.
To be successful in your application for this role it is beneficial to have;
- Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.
- Significant experience of working in a reporting and control team.
- In depth knowledge and experience of internal controls and processes.
- Experience working in a team that has made strong use of a BI tool.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
