McKinley is looking for an Accountant to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI!Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this trusted role will provide financial and administrative support for all personal financial matters on behalf of the General Partners family and family trusts.Areas of responsibility will include the tracking and recording of all financial transactions including, but not limited to:G/L coding and processing of cash receipts & disbursements, wire transfers, bank deposits, bank statement reconciliation, journal entries and G/L account reconciliationProcessing the payments for all client obligations, including reviewing invoices and billing statements for reconciliation and payment processingReviewing and importing into Excel and OGSYS oil & gas accounting software all investment financial statements (venture capital, hedge funds, private equity, commodities, oil and gas, etc.)Providing key information to tax consultants, as requiredProviding administrative support and assistance with special projects as neededDesired ExperienceBachelors degree, or equivalent experience, with substantial bookkeeping/accounting focusA minimum of seven to ten years in progressively responsible bookkeeping/accounting functions with general ledger experienceAdvanced proficiency with Excel is a mustExperience working with investment accountingStrong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detailKnowledge of bookkeeping/accounting applications (MRI a plus) and Microsoft OfficeExceptional communication skills and flexibility are criticalWho We AreMcKinley, founded in 1968, is a proven leader in all aspects of investment real estate.
