Interim Senior Financial Accountant

Robertson Bell Finance are working with a leading Housing Association based in Central London to recruit an Interim Senior Financial Accountant on a 6 month contract. The organisation are going through a period of change and have a major growth and transformation plans in the near future.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the main responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant are as follows:

• Lead on the production of all aspects of the monthly statutory reporting across the organisation.
• Provide systems support to the project manager for the new ERP and invoice processing systems.
• Implement new policies and processes as well as improving existing guidelines in order to effect tighter financial controls.
• Deliver a variety of projects as outlined by the Finance Director, using previous knowledge to fill in the gaps and ensure smooth roll-out.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with experience in another Housing Association or in speciailising in housing at a Local Authority. You must have the ability to pick things up with a minimal guidance and input from elsewhere in finance. Finally, experience of implementing tight financial controls and knowing 'what good looks like' is critical to this role.
