Wallwork Financial, a 67–year–old, 3rd generation equipment finance company, is currently looking for a Controller (CPA) to lead, innovate and mentor a talented team in a very dynamic industry. This individual will be required to have an in–depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, a high aptitude for technology, the desire to collaborate as a team and operate at a high level of integrity. Education and Work Experience Requirements:CPA designationBachelors degree in accountingMinimum five years work experience Required Technical Skills:In depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesAbility to compile, analyze & understand a Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash Flow statementProficient user of Microsoft Excel Required Interpersonal Skills:Positive attitudeAbility to communicate effectivelyDesire to collaborate with others and lead a team of 4 –6 highly talented individualsOpen to adapting to change in everchanging high paced industryAttention to detailSelf–motivatedAbility to problem solveOperate at a high level of integrity
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:Monthly & annual financial statement preparation (Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash Flow Statement)Interpret and present the companys financial position to management & company ownership teamOversee entire accounting function, including but not limited to:Posting cash receipts Booking/setting up loan and lease transactionsReviewing internal controlsAssist in managing funding relationships with external financial institutionsConducts deficiency reporting for Management and outside 3rd partiesMaintains records for accrued repo loss / bad debt reserveACH ProcessingReconciles GL Accounts and ensures they are accurately stated Sales tax processing for lease transactionsAssist in preparation of annual projections for the company and/or departmentsMonitor liquidity & manage cash position for efficient use of liquid funds Assist in annual bank presentations as it relates to Wallwork Financial CorporationTime value of money calculationsAdhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendancePerforms W.W. Wallwork Inc.–wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor. Upholds W.W. Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures. Negligible travel will be involved with overnights.This may depend on involvement with industry organizations.
