An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sage 200 Consultant to join a highly acquisitive, private equity-backed professional services business. They have an ambitious buy-and-build strategy and are undergoing a transformation process to standardise processes across the group. A large part of this transformation covers IT and finance, including a Sage 200 implementation. Therefore, they are in need of a strong Sage Consultant to join the team on an interim basis of at least 6 months. Although the office is based in Ipswich, there is the opportunity to work remotely.

What you will be doing:
- Internal lead for the Sage 200 implementation across the group (4 businesses so far)
- Liaising with the external integration partner and the internal IT team to effectively carry out the project
- Liaising with the external partner to ensure that the implementation of the system fully meets the company’s requirements.
- Production of reports in Sage 200 for the finance team and facilitate data transfer into Power BI
- Liaise with various stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and make recommendations on how the business can get the most utilisation out of the system.
- Training the team on the best use of the system and providing user robust user guides
About you:
- Experience in an end-to-end Sage implementation
- Extensive knowledge of Sage and the capabilities of the system within a group
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance and ability to communicate effectively with finance and subject matter experts
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (desirable)
