A forward-thinking and ambitious independent practice are looking to hire a qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA Accounts Senior into their office on the outskirts of Guildford.

An independent practice, they pride themselves on their client relationships, providing expert and personalised advice. They have a varied client base from sole traders to limited companies, based across Surrey. Due to recent growth and expansion they require an experienced, ACCA/ACA part-qualified accountant to join them.

Description

The Accounts Senior will work closely with clients to carry out a range of accounting duties, mostly accurate bookkeeping and preparation of management and year end accounts. As accounts senior, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior members of staff and assist with their development.

Profile

The Accounts Senior will be ACCA or ACA qualified or part-qualified, with a good background in accountancy within a practice environment. Candidates who are QBE with a good background in practice will also be considered. Knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Office packages is essential as are excellent written and verbal communication skills, due to the client facing nature of the role. Although not essential, audit experience would be highly desirable.

Job Offer

Competitive salary between £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.

Exposure to large clients with turnovers of up to £200m.
