We are working with a high-growth renewable utility business looking to bring in a Financial Accountant. The business operates in more than a dozen developing countries and is transforming access to renewable solutions, supported by the development of a cutting-edge software management systems.
They have just taken on private-equity investment, which is further enhancing the accelerated growth in multiple markets. As such, they are looking for someone to join their finance function and support the business through this period.

What you will be doing:
- Financial accounting for the UK entities and group
- Preparing the monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations
- Reporting under IFRS accounting standards
- Assisting with year-end and statutory accounting
- Engagement and coordination of overseas finance teams regarding inter-company transactions and foreign exchange movements
- Assistance in the continued development of financial reporting
- Assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards, such as IFRS 9, 15 and 16
- Management of transactional finance function and associated ledgers
- Ad-hoc projects on a regular basis
About you:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
- Advanced Excel skills
- Multi-currency experience
- Experience working in a PE / leverage business
- Knowledge of UK and International financial standards, taxation and legislation
- Experience in SMEs
