Accountant

Cordant People are currently recruiting for an Accountant on behalf of our busy client in Dundee. This is a full-time, permanent role with a widely recognised firm who are known for their quality and excellent level of customer service.

The Role:

Cash flow projections.
Authorising payments and controlling overall cash flow.
Monthly Management Accounts.
Bank reconciliations.
Job Costing work in progress.
Petty Cash - post to schedule and upload to sage.
Hire purchase finance schedules and recording Fixed Asset Schedules.
Processing monthly Salaries and issue payslips.
VAT returns and adjustments.
P35 returns.
Credit Control duties. The Successful Candidate:

Previous experience in a a well-rounded accounts role essential.
Supervisory experience desired.
Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office).
Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Effective communicator.
Strong attention to detail.All successful applicants will be contacted with in 5 working days.
