Interim Financial Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently engaged with a well branded PLC in Leeds City Centre, to help them through a time of Permanent hire, recruit a reliable Interim Financial Accountant.

Your main scope as an interim financial accountant, other than providing general Finance support to the team, will be to manage the group control framework to ensure that controls and systems are in place and effective.

On a day to day you will be expected to oversee:
*The Group Financial Controls Framework, ensuring that key financial controls and governance are in place and working
*Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for all Group reporting unit
*Providing MI on the Frameworks operating governance and financial controls
*Be a knowledgeable POC for all overseas guidance on strong financial controls
*Oversee, develop and implement an effective control framework for all new markets and acquisitions
*Modify, implement and Group IT changes as appropriate
*Manage the Group Cash and Bank reconciliation process
*Produce and distribute monthly Cash and Bank Management Information
*Establish good working relationships with overseas colleagues

Your profile:
*You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
*You will have extensive experience as an Interim Financial Accountant
*Financial Control experience is a must - in a PLC preferably
*Excellent communication skills
*Excellent systems experience - particularly MS Excel
