Temporary Trainee Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an immediately available Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based within the South Leeds area to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 6 months to begin with but could extend further or progress to a permanent role.

This role is a great opportunity to work for an established, well-known business and would help someone who has limited experience in accounts to progress their career.

The successful candidate will have some experience in accounts and have the ability to use their own initiative and work well within a team. You must be flexible to interview and be available to start as soon as possible.

Location: South Leeds
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience

*Bank reconciliations
*Fixed asset processing
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Payment processing
*Provision calculations
*VAT returns
*Import compliance
