Accounts Payable Supervisor & Project Lead

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a well-known professional services organisation based in Sydney CBD.

The company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their finance team reporting to the Shared Service Manager for a 12 month fixed term contract. The main functions for this role is to be the SME and project lead for multiple initiatives for Accounts Payable.

The Accounts Payable Supervisor responsibilities include:

• Ownership for Accounts Payable process for APAC
• Oversee best practice Accounts Payable
• Assist with the on shoring of Accounts Payable
• Lead multiple Accounts Payable Project Initiatives
• Providing high level stakeholder management
• Making supplier payments and deal with queries- both local and international
• Expense management with Concur
• Credit Card Management
• Month end processes and reconciliations
• Help with process improvement and driving efficiencies

The right person will have:

• Exceptional communication & strong stakeholder engagement
• At least 5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable
• Confident in taking ownership of AP process
• Experience with large ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics 365 advantageous
• Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated process improvement and project lead experience
