Description

Newly created position as Reporting & Insight Manager working within a complex and diverse financial services organisation in Sheffield.

As Senior Reporting & Insight Manager you will own the provision and development of all regular product and entity reporting and will be a subject matter expert in the information available across all investment programmes and will maintain the organisation's Single Version of the Truth, including the definitive view of organisational performance against strategic KPIs.

You will provide reports, including all investment product performance reporting, and dashboards for all products and will pro-actively develop product reporting suites on an ongoing basis, ensuring that reports are developed as new requirements emerge. You will seek to continuously improvement through the development of new, innovative ways to visualise business performance.

You will be responsible for the for provision of information for use by senior stakeholders including the CEO, Executive Committee and Board, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office in external communications. This position has line management responsibility of a team of BI Analysts, including educating, training and mentoring to allow the adoption of a formal development methodology across the Business Intelligence function.

Profile

Essential Criteria:

• Extensive experience in the construction of dashboards and commercial analysis using Power BI.
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Production of reporting and analysis by combining multiple data courses
• Delivering to tight deadlines
• Handling and validating financial data with precision and accuracy
• Line management experience of a small team

Job Offer

c£48,000 - 55,000 depending upon relevant experience
