Accountant

Description

Key Responsibilities of this role include;

• Manage Fixed Asset registers for multiple companies

• Sign off of bank reconciliations prepared by Accounts Payable Team

• Management of Prepayment balance sheet accounts, including monthly release journals

• Management of Accrual balance sheet accounts

• Management and entry of Europe Payroll journals monthly

• Month end tasks to ensure books are closed within deadline with appropriate journals

• Document systems and tasks as and when required and train finance staff in order that they can carry out their financial responsibilities

• Completion of various statistical returns in an accurate and timely manner

• Take responsibility for ensuring the integrity of financial record storage including batch transaction printouts, month-end close workings and archival of prior year records

Profile

The successful candidate will be within an Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant role (or similar), and will have working experience of the above tasks. This role will be particularly relevant for candidates in the process of studying ACCA/CIMA.
