A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing business in the Cambridge market, reporting into the Senior Finance team you will be joining a varied and diverse role. Working in the telecommunications industry the Management Accountant will have responsibility for group reporting and analysis alongside acting in a business partnering capacity to the wider teams in the business.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts across the companies global subsidiaries, alongside weekly reports to be shared with the senior finance team
  • Assisting the senior finance members with the ongoing budget preparation and re-forecasts as required
  • Maintenance of the monthly cost centre budgets and reporting of actual results including variance analysis to key stakeholders
  • Assisting with the production of the annual and quarterly Financial Statements prepared in accordance with IFRS
  • Maintenance of balance sheet items, including but not limited to Fixed Asset, Prepayments and Accrual schedules
  • Liaising with non-finance department heads, providing on-going financial support
  • Assisting with the statutory audit
  • Provide assistance in various finance projects which drive automation and efficiency, including system development and improvements

Profile

The successful candidate for the the Management Accountant will be:

  • ACCA or CIMA part qualified and actively pursuing
  • Strong systems knowledge and strong Excel experience; V Look-ups, Sumifs and Pivot Tables
  • IFRS knowledge would be advantageous
  • Confident in building an maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven in producing detailed financial reports and analysis
