Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-known Leeds based organisation who are looking to identify a high calibre interim Financial Accountant to join their Finance Team on an initial 3 month basis.
Role:
The Financial Accountant position is an important role within the Finance Team, with key involvement on financial reporting and for ensuring accounting implications are considered in all commercial, operational and strategic decisions.

The Financial Accountant position is an important role within the Finance Team, with key involvement on financial reporting and for ensuring accounting implications are considered in all commercial, operational and strategic decisions.
Duties will include;
- Posting Accruals and Prepayments
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining Fixed Asset registers
- Producing Statutory Accounts and assisting with Audit enquiries
- Preparing and submitting company Tax returns including Tax computations, calculation of QIP's, VAT returns etc and managing responses to tax audit enquiries
- Assisting with the company's Internal Control system
- All tasks associated with the day to day running of the Finance team and month end closing
Person:
The Financial Accountant role will suit;
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical financial accounting skills
- Forward thinking with an analytical approach
- Ability to communicate effectively and partner with senior management and non-finance staff
