On behalf of a business in Reading I am recruiting for a Permanent Part-Qualified Finance Business Partner to join their expanding finance team.
Client Details
My client is based within walking distance of the station and also offer parking for the whole office. They are a true market leader who will come into contact and affect the a large proportion of the UK market.
Description
The applicant applicant for this permanent role will be responsible for the following:
- Support the preparation of business plans and budgets, providing specialist advice.
- Produce and present period actuals and forecasts for budget holders, including preparing period accruals, transfers and adjustments. Issue reports and support budget holders in understanding the impact of the period results and forecasts against budgets.
- Produce the period end business review pack and highlight any significant issues with financial and other business results.
- Monitor and promulgate corporate governance throughout the function and review compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in investment appraisals and business case analysis.
- Model and analyse cost base and identify and monitor opportunities and efficiency's.
- Participate in budget holder key meetings to provide sound financial advice and support.
- Provide investment and project accounting services as required for areas of responsibility.
- Support the timely collection of business unit debts and payment of business unit creditors, and supply accurate periodic cash forecasts.
Profile
To be considered for this Permanent Part-Qualified Finance Business Partner role you must posses the following:
- Studying towards either an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Be educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills and commercial understanding
- Have worked within a commercial environment business partnering with sales teams
- Experience in assessing multiple business and financial factors to make difficult judgement calls
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with various manager/stakeholders across the business
