Finance Manager role for a global media/TV production company a based in Central London. Encompassing reporting, commercial/strategic support and line management. £65K + Benefits.

The Client

Our client is an award winning, global media & TV production business based in Central London. They produce bespoke content for both advertising and TV series/programs and are a household name and a globally recognised brand.

This Finance Manager role would be joining a team of 7 where you would have day to day management of 3 direct reports. Their finance function is very much a team of high calibre individuals, all from strong media/production backgrounds. They are a close-knit unit however there is also a larger group finance function which offers both scope for continued progression/lateral movements alongside a strong team dynamic across the business.

Description

The Role

The Finance Manager role reports into the Finance Director and will have the following key responsibilities, taking ownership of the day to day management of the divisions finance:

  • Ownership of Finance Function - Produce and Manage Month End Processes and Consolidation
  • Business Partnering - Production Teams + Production Senior Leadership
  • FP&A - Ownership of Forecasts, Budgets, 3 Year Plans. Provide Ad Hoc Analysis and Commentary in Support of the Finance Director (Assisting with Strategic Decision Making)
  • Line Management - Oversee a team of 3 Part-Qualified Individuals

    What's Needed

  • Professional Qualification - ACA/ACCA or CIMA
  • Previous production accounting/media/TV exposure highly desirable
  • Need to be able to show a working understanding of a production accounting cycle
  • Line management experience essential
  • Able to commute to Central London
