Description

The Finance Business Partner will work closely with operations to promote accountability and to challenge and inform decision making. You will be responsible for the budgets and forecasts, overseeing the P+L, looking into market data and historical trends, and support the delivery of month end.

You will support Senior Management in driving to identify opportunities to improve profitability through analysis and identification of trends, re-negotiating contracts and bad debt recovery. You will review period end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliation.

Profile

The successful Finance Business Partner must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), technically astute, ideally working within retail or FMCG with commercial exposure. This role would suit a candidate who is 1-3 years post qualified, including those looking for a first move from practice if you have the get up and go to learn quickly and the credibility to challenge senior stakeholders.
