Head of FP&A for one of the leading London universities with an excellent international presence.

Client Details

This organisation is a highly regarded London University. They run hugely successful courses both in the UK and internationally, and focus a lot of their resources on world leading research. They have gone through a period of growth and diversification of income streams over the last few years. They are now looking to focus on future proofing the organisation and driving stronger business partnering service between finance and the wider organisation.

This role will work closely with senior leadership to drive commercial decision making, contribute to key projects and suggest areas for continuous improvement within finance and the wider organisation.

Description

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a team of qualified accountants

• Work closely with director level budget holders on a regular basis

• Look to drive improvement to reporting and analysis that goes out to budget holders

• Contribute heavily to key projects across the organisation

Profile

You will be a fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA accountant (or equivalent) with strong FP&A and finance business partnering skills that can be evidenced through experience. The ability to communicate effectively with non-finance is essential to success within the position as is a thorough understanding of budgeting, forecasting and detailed analysis. All backgrounds considered but an understanding of large scale organisation or higher education funding would be beneficial.

Job Offer

Salary £55,000 to £65,000 plus excellent pension and annual leave allowance
