Semi Senior Accountant - Music & Media Clients - Central London
Your new company
An established accountancy firm based in Central London are seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join the team. The accountancy firm specialises in providing a number of accounting, tax and specialist services to a number of local and international clients from within the music and entertainment industry.
Your new role
In your new role as a Semi Senior Accountant you work as part of a successful and expanding team to prepare accounts and tax returns for a number of international clients within the music and media space. Specifically you will be required to prepare sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts typically in accordance with FRS105 & 102. You will be responsible for preparing corporation and personal tax returns as well as liaising directly with HMRC. You will also supervise more junior members of staff ensuring bookkeeping and VAT duties have been completed accurately, whilst reporting straight to the managers.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role the successful candidate will be either AAT qualified or part way through ACCA with a minimum of 2 years experience in a client facing practice role. You will be confident in preparing accounts, tax returns and carrying out bookkeeping duties. Due to the nature of the position excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
