Your new company
Hays Senior Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant for a large FMCG company. This is a rare and interesting opportunity involving a wide range of tasks involving a range of stakeholders.
Your new role
Reporting to the Group Accountant you will cover a varied role which will include but is not limited to the preparation of monthly management accounts, handling of balance sheet reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of the firm's annual budget, preparation of VAT returns and reporting to budget holders. This role will also involve managing and coaching team members to ensure high levels of performance can be delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to be a qualified accountant with a minimum of one year's post qualification experience or will have at least five years finance experience in a finance environment. You will also need to have high levels of IT literacy including working knowledge of Excel. The ability to analyse large amounts of complex data with high attentions to detail would be extremely beneficial for this role. A self-motivated individual with who thrives working on their own but equally as part of a team would be ideal for this role.
