Semi-Senior Accountant Role - Fantastic Practice - Based in Crewe
Your new company
Your new company is a Practice Accountancy firm, based in Crewe. You will have around 2-3 year previous experience within practice Accounting and be coming to the end of AAT or just started ACCA.
Your new role
As a Semi Senior you will be working with a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a variety of sectors such as construction, hospitality and tourism. Your role will see you prepare the bookkeeping and draft sets of statutory accounts for the manager to review. You will be required to prepare VAT, corporation and personal tax returns as well.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have previous experience working within an Accountancy Practice previously in a similar role. You should be able to prepare accounts to FRS102/105 standards and be up to date on the latest legislation in regards to tax. Good communication skills are essential in this role as you will be liaising with clients and colleagues on a daily basis and you should be a proficient user of IT systems -experience with QuickBooks / FreeAgent / Sage / IRIS.
