MPeople Accountancy & Finance are a specialist finance recruiter based in Leeds and have an opportunity with an organisation based in Bradford for a Head of Finance.
The client is a higher education and further education organisation based in the heart of Bradford. They are looking for an individual to play a cornerstone role in Finance to act in a strategic, management accounting and procurement role.

- Do you have experience within a position of accountability for a Finance team?
- Have you experience in leading procurement projects at an organisational level?
- Do you hold a relevant financial qualification i.e. ACCA | CIMA or equivalent?

YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supporting creation and implementation of financial strategy across organisation
- Process mapping and maintenance of financial infrastructure
- Leading procurement activity
- Accountable for Management Accounts and Financial Accounts
- Responsible for fortifying financial decisions
- Quality management systems for measuring supplier performance
- Performance management of staff in Finance department
- …. And other duties
YOU WILL NEED
- Significant experience working in a similar position
- CIMA | ACCA qualification or similar
- Financial and Management Accounts reporting
- Experience working in procurement
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Strong knowledge of financial software such as Sage or similar
- Microsoft office experience is essential especially Excel
- Internal and external stakeholder management
