Finance Business Partner
Walsall/Sheffield based
£50,000
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join our market leading client, working from both their Walsall and Sheffield offices. Our client deals with large corporations across the UK, and is a thriving business, offering an exciting opportunity for a career minded Finance individual.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Day to day financial management and providing financial support to other members of the senior management team
* Working within the wider team to raise awareness of financial principles and ensure financial targets are achieved
* Establishing profitability of contracts and advising on the financial implications of proposed business initiatives and actions
* Develop and implement financial processes in order to maximise business profitability whilst ensuring targets and objectives are met
* Production of monthly management accounts, forecasting, as well as reporting to management and the Board
* Monitoring P&L accounts, cash budgets and other financial control processes
* Supporting Group Finance with Statutory processes as well as reporting, including Balance Sheet reconciliation and external account audits
Key skills & experience:
* Experience of working in a similar role
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft IT packages (in particular Excel), knowledge of financial software such as Oracle would be advantageous also
* Analytically minded, with a keen eye for detail
* Ability to work well under pressure, using initiative with little supervision
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
* Ideally CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
This role will involve travel to another site, on average once or twice a week; therefore a full driving license is necessary. Travel expenses will be covered by the business where appropriate.
