Technical Accountant

You'll play a vital role in our Technical department.

You’ll be responsible for the Technical and Training team, supporting the performance of the Private Equity teams. You’ll need a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to lead by example. You’ll need to provide exceptional technical advice, and support development of new services and new business proposals. You will also be responsible for the training and development of the more junior members of your team.

You’ll need to be highly organized, pay close attention to detail and be keen to cope with multiple task, prioritise and provide excellent customer services, which IQEQ is well known for.

Using your experience you will provide client services staff globally with relevant functional skills and industry knowledge to meet their role objectives;

You will be responsible for providing timely technical advice and review in relation to client deliverable's, driving a quality output;

You will participate in the development of process and systems enhancements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

You will be responsible for providing quality reviews on files prepared by the service team to assure quality of deliverable's across the clients.

We will need you to use your initiative as we will need your assistance and suggestions on how we can add value to our service delivery by looking for ways we can get better at what they do in the most efficient way possible.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant prefer with Audit experience.
• Strong communication and Excel skills.
• Experience in IFRS / UK GAAP
• Experience of providing services to clients and Teams.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to do research on Accounting GAAP.
• Comfortable communicating with Senior Management.
• Can do attitude, ability to cope with tight deadlines and working under pressure.
• Knowledge of the industry is desirable but not essential.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and data manipulation
