Exceptional opportunity to join a market leading FMCG manufacturer offering an interim site no1 finance role providing a full business partnering function to operations. Initially a 9 month contract.

Established, market leading, FMCG branded manufacturing business based outside Nottingham, easily commutable from Derby, Leicester and Chesterfield.
Description
You will Reporting into the regional CFO (off site), with a day to day dotted line reporting into the Site Operations Manager
Responsible for the primary finance support to the Site Operations Manager and Site Management team, through evaluating and contributing towards site projects
Lead and manage the Finance team on the Nottingham site with full responsibility for the factory performance, including financial plan and forecasts, the month end process, variance analysis and financial reviews
Carry out monthly Balance Sheet reviews, including fixed assets, stock, accruals and prepayments to ensure that full controls are being applied
Evaluation of related Capital Expenditure
Preparation and submission of Quarterly forecasts into Commercial team
Analysis of material variances (Price Variance, Usage, Bill of Material), incorporating into half year re-pricing, leading to Gross Margin Impact being passed through to Group Commercial Units (positive and negative)
Profile
You will be a qualified Finance Manager with experience gained leading a small team in support of site operations in Manufacturing. You will have proven people skills and strong systems skills
