Want to contribute in setting and implementing of a new Financial Planning & Analysis Centre of Excellence for one of the largest pure-play software companies in the world?

Your role will be focused on monitoring, maintaining and performing the global revenue recognition process for the company. This includes reviewing contracts, applying and advising on revenue recognition principles, and dealing with deferred income and prepayments. You will ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, flow of transactions, internal controls and recommending efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Fluency in the English and German languages (mandatory)
  • Advanced degree, Accounting certification or Professional Finance certifications (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), CA, ACCA or equivalent) are an advantage
  • Typically 2-3 years of experience in Revenue Recognition
  • Experience in a Global Technology or Software Company is preferred
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Centre is preferred
  • Experience across other areas of the Quote to Cash process is an advantage
