Global tech business seeking a professional contractor for 6 month assignment incorporating a systems upgrade

Description

Supporting the global finance function (UK/EMEA/APAC) as the business embarks on a major systems upgrade. You'll be responsible for integrating the new system from the perspective of the Finance function, ensuring all process are moved smoothly during the upgrade including GL, AP, AR, Balance Sheets, reporting, month end, year end, financial accounts.

You'll also be hands one with project accounting within the business around cost centres, contracts and any other adhoc.

Profile

You'll have a core finance background (ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified) with a fundamental understanding of the operation of a finance function within a large organisation.

In addition you'll have worked with an have an understanding of major ERP systems and a keen interest in systems accounting work including but not limited to; financial processes, process improvements, financial modelling, system/process testing, systems integration's.

Strong excel skills are essential.
