Client Details
This Big 4 firm's Gatwick office is conveniently located for clients in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London and has excellent travel links to London (30 minutes train time to London) with easy access to the airport itself.
You will be working across a diverse client base, gaining insight and knowledge of a broad range of different sectors and industries.
The office is expanding and looking for additional resources to help the team go from strength to strength. By becoming an integral part of this group you will be working to grow an ambitious and exciting office.
The mix of clients and type of work offered allow for involvement and development in traditional statutory audit as well as the opportunity for project based and transactional work.
Description
The mix of clients and type of work offered allow for involvement and development in traditional statutory audit, as well as the opportunity for project based and transactional work.
Responsibilities:
*On-site coordination role for audit assignments, from the planning stage through delivery and reporting of audit assignments
*Supervisory responsibility for teams
*Building and maintaining relationships with the client and colleagues
*Develop and mentor more junior members of staff
*Become a specialist in your field, delivering on ambitious growth targets
Profile
*A professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)
*Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and ISA's preferred
*Experience with US GAAP/GAAS and SOX an advantage

*Planning and project management skills
*Strong analytical and organisational abilities
