About the Position:
 We are seeking a Tax & VAT Analyst to join SIPCHEM organization. The Tax & VAT Analyst primary role is to ensure the Company's obligations regarding Tax, VAT & Transfer Pricing are maintained and reported both to the regulatory agencies and management.

Duties & Responsibilities
Direct Tax (Tax & Zakat):
 Prepare the computation of provision for taxation Review the Tax working papers
 Prepare tax planning in conjunction with the external consultant and future tax/zakat filings. Prepare Annual Tax returns.
 Prepare Withholding tax returns
 Prepare Advance payment return
 Prepare Annual income and Zakat return Review of cash tax positions

VAT (Indirect Tax):
 Preparation, completion and submission of VAT returns within the filing deadlines and in compliance with the local VAT law
 Prepare VAT returns promptly in order to maximize cash flow benefits to the General Authority of Zakat and Tax.
 Keep abreast of current developments relating to VAT
 Liaising with external advisors and keeping up to date with new VAT legislation and rules Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
 Continuously review and monitor the adequacy of systems, procedures and other relevant records to ensure compliance with VAT and other taxation Regulations.
 Providing VAT training across the group

Transfer Pricing:
 Produce Transfer Pricing documentation (Including Masterfile & Local file) in line with OECD/GAZT action plan.
 Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare/review the CBCR as well as ensure that CBCR notifications are submitted in a timely manner in all relevant jurisdictions.
 Assist in managing and developing policies and challenging benchmarks.
 Work closely with the Business to recommend procedures and practices regarding the pricing of intra-group transactions, as well as monitoring the implementation of Group Transfer Pricing policies.
 Provide support to entities undergoing tax audits and regulatory queries relating to Transfer Pricing matters.
 Identify, document and review intra-group transactions and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate Transfer Pricing risk.
 Supervise and review the production of regional benchmarking studies, economic and industry analyses by advisors
 Support Head of Taxes in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
 Regularly monitor the evolutions of the OECD/GAZT guidelines that are likely to impact the Group, as well as national TP Requirements

General Major Duties / Responsibilities
 Adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
 Carry out the duties and responsibilities in compliance with SIPCHEM law and regulations. Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
