Accounts Payable Clerk

This growing retail business are in need of an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing Thetford team to assist with their continued growth as a business. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be a hands on role which will have ownership of the Purchase Ledger with responsibility for the supplier statements as well as producing month end reports to be passed onto the senior finance team.

An already established retail business with a European client base who are able to provide excellent facilities and working environment from their Thetford site. Sitting in an experienced Finance team the Accounts Payable Clerk will have a hands on role with continual growth and development opportunities.

Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for:

• The smooth and accurate running of the Purchase Ledger
• Processing of all invoices as well as producing monthly reports for the senior finance team
• Reconciliation of the supplier statement
• Dealing with any customer queries
• Ensuring the sending of BACS payment runs and reviewing of payments
• Assisting with process and system changes alongside the internal finance team
• Building relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients

Profile

The successful candidate for the Accounts Payable Clerk will be:

• Ideally studying their AAT or eager to do so
• A proven track record in an Accounts Payable position
• Experience in a number of systems and confident user of Excel
• Confident in building and maintaining key relationships internally and externally
• Keen to develop and grow their skill-set
