As Commercial Analyst you will have a direct impact on the pricing strategy for the business, providing detailed analysis and reports to help drive business decisions.

Description

The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Analyse daily and intra-day trading performance across products
  • Analyse market changes and competitor activity
  • Make adjustments to deployed pricing strategies to maximise business performance
  • Utilise internal and external data sources to assess our market position and understand competitor pricing changes which can be reacted to.
  • Provide detailed pricing analysis and reports to drive business decisions across wider departments
  • Design and implement experiments to better understand customer behaviour in an agile way.
  • Daily analysis of large data sets in Excel
  • Spearhead projects and experiments to help support pricing strategies

Profile

The successful candidate for the Commercial Analyst will be:

  • An advanced Excel user, capable of handling large amounts of data
  • Strong in their commercial knowledge and market insight
  • Able to communicate data across all departments in the business
  • Experience in statistical analysis software would be advantageous
  • Confident in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
