Description
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Analyse daily and intra-day trading performance across products
- Analyse market changes and competitor activity
- Make adjustments to deployed pricing strategies to maximise business performance
- Utilise internal and external data sources to assess our market position and understand competitor pricing changes which can be reacted to.
- Provide detailed pricing analysis and reports to drive business decisions across wider departments
- Design and implement experiments to better understand customer behaviour in an agile way.
- Daily analysis of large data sets in Excel
- Spearhead projects and experiments to help support pricing strategies
Profile
The successful candidate for the Commercial Analyst will be:
- An advanced Excel user, capable of handling large amounts of data
- Strong in their commercial knowledge and market insight
- Able to communicate data across all departments in the business
- Experience in statistical analysis software would be advantageous
- Confident in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
