Your opportunity
The Business Analyst within the Solutions Factory team is responsible for the approach to requirements analysis, capture and management for assigned technology projects delivering RA products and propositions. As part of the Solutions Factory for RA, the BA defines the requirements management approach for solutions built by the SF or implementation partners. They work using methodologies across the spectrum of Agile (User Stories) and Waterfall (formal requirements documents) approaches as appropriate.
Additionally, they oversee the approach for QA for their assigned projects (QA is generally undertaken by other teams and resources from 3rd parties and needs high level co-ordination).

Your role
- Ownership of the requirements analysis for their assigned technology projects
- Ensuring they strive to deliver high standards of Business Analysis work
- Supporting the culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Contribute towards analysis standards including frameworks and templates, use of tooling and the evolution of analysis practices and processes.
- Work with product managers/owners and analysts to translate business and user requirements into a requirements documentation and/or Stories and Epics
- Work with UI/UX team to translate requirements to create mock-ups / wireframes and prototypes
- Elaborate and split user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Manage dependencies between user stories / requirements and guide the prioritisation of the backlog in refinement sessions.
- Work with the development team to walkthrough requirements and acceptance criteria and ensure the team is aligned.
- Create documents relevant to the project stage for e.g. business / system context diagrams, as-is / to-be business processes, use case diagrams and user personas.
- Responsible for owning and updating business requirements, business rules and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with the development team to provide automated test requirements for positive and negative cases.
- Undertaking due diligence and QA on selected projects to ensure they align with BA standards and governance

Your professional experience
- Demonstrable experience in a (ideally technical) business analysis role
- A growth mind-set in relation to risk and innovation, with the capacity and ability to try new and innovative ways to manage processes, procedures and governance of propositions;
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams when working across departmental boundaries and local, remote and near/off shore teams
- Desirable â€" broad experience across different software development methodologies including Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc) methodologies and exposure to dev ops culture
- Desirable - Broad range of experience or exposure gained across software delivery areas (Agile Scrum Master, Development, Testing and Operations) with the ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary manner
- Desirable â€" experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Gitlab, Confluence & VSTS
