The chance to join a huge, FTSE100 FMCG/Retail giant. This Financial Reporting Manager role will be a hybrid blend of reporting, business partnering and commercial responsibilities, based in Central London, with a £75K package.

The Client

Our client is a huge multinational holding a diverse portfolio of big name brands that sit within the group, all whose revenue comes from either FMCG or retail focused markets. Well established in their field, the company has continues to post sustained growth and further cement their position as a global market leader.

They are looking to bring in a Financial Reporting Manager into their London Head Office to focus on taking ownership of reporting and analysis for a number of their key divisions. This will be part of a small team of Reporting Managers with ownership of reporting and analysis for a number of key brands within the group.

Description

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting, this Financial Reporting Manager will be a varied role but will include the following key responsibilities:

Analysis

  • Chair monthly divisional meetings - reviews and commentary on performance
  • Divisional performance analysis and presentation
  • Business Partner - Senior Leaders within divisional teams as well as group/local finance teams
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting where required by Group FD
  • Assist FP&A team with further ad hoc analysis

  • Ownership of consolidated financial statements for given divisions - Establish position as key Point of Contact and Finance Lead for divisions
  • Ad hoc reporting and advising on M&A/Disposals
  • Assist with the roll out of new accounting standards across the group (IFRS 16)

    What's Needed

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong Technical Background - Group Reporting & IFRS 16
  • Strong Excel Proficiency
  • Listed/Complex Company Exposure Desirable
  • FMCG/Retail Exposure Desirable
  • Able to commute to Central London
