Finance Business Partner - I.T - 6 Month FTC to Permanent

The Role:

Our client is an ASX listed, respected and renowned Insurance business with a collaborative culture with great senior management. Reporting into the I.T Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for bridging the gap between the finance and IT function of the organization.

The purpose of this role is to:

• Lead the regional financial support team in the control of all IT finance matters
• Implement and manage controls and governance framework in the region while ensuring expenses are managed in a partnership with cost centre owners
• To provide accurate reporting and analysis of all Technology costs across multiple entities
• Support the region to drive expense reporting for the respective IT leadership teams

Key Duties:

• Driving the IT Finance agenda with the business
• Delivering budget reporting to executives and senior managers
• Support the business planning process across IT, including the production of budgets and forecasts, to ensure all cost management controls and targets are incorporated
• Partnering with the Global IT Finance Manager to conduct Group reporting
• Cost modelling, reporting and allocation
• The strong ability to partner with senior stakeholders and executives
• Helping to support the data centre relocation process

Requirements:

• Experience working within an IT Business Partnering role is highly regarded
• Experience working with Cost allocation in the I.T function of the business is necessary
• Previous experience with Cost modelling
• Exposure to data centre relocation is very highly regarded
• Ability to drive process improvements and establishment of controls within the portfolio
• High level knowledge of financial reporting and analysis in control of an I.T or project environment
• 4-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Group reporting and analysis experience is necessary
• Very strong communication skills with a strong business partnering attitude
• The ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior stakeholders
