As the Advisor, Regulatory Affairs you will be responsible for assisting senior management with APRA's external regulatory relations, driving forward collaboration with domestic and/or international regulators, multilateral representative bodies and other agencies and managing effective interactions with government, industry bodies and other public stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have substantial organisational, self and priority management skills, including proven ability to lead strategic engagement externally and coordinating cross-divisional processes.
You will also have knowledge of current and emerging global supervisory practices and domestic financial market trends. You will also be capable of representing APRA in industry groups and international & domestic regulatory gatherings.
As the Advisor, Regulatory Affairs you will be responsible for assisting senior management with APRA's external regulatory relations, driving forward collaboration with domestic and/or international regulators, multilateral representative bodies and other agencies and managing effective interactions with government, industry bodies and other public stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for:
- Supporting APRA's external regulatory relationships with domestic and international regulatory, multilateral government and industry bodies through central coordination of engagement.
- Contributing to development of centralised infrastructure and knowledge management tools to support and enhance APRA interactions with external regulatory partners.
- Coordinating engagement across APRA staff to ensure APRA's external regulatory relationships are supported by relevant subject matter expertise.
- Overseeing and maintaining effective strategies to monitor external regulatory developments and identify those that may affect APRA's objectives in the foreseeable future.
- Keeping abreast of industry developments.
- Partnering with teams across APRA to deliver desired outcomes.
