Our growing retail client who have seen repeated year on year revenue growth, expansion and new store openings are on the hunt for an experience Finance Director. You will be responsible for leading the finance team and maximising performance within the UAE market. You will be an experienced business partner with strong budgeting and forecasting knowledge. You will also add value in strategic plans and be able to confidently translate financial terminology to non-financial stakeholders.
The successful candidate should be a CPA (or equivalent) qualified Accountant with a proven track record of retail finance in the Middle East. You should have experience of opening new stores and providing guidance to IT, procurement, marketing etc. Budgeting, forecasting and operational finance should be at the core of your skillset. IFRS knowledge is essential and you should have the personality required to confidently business partner and lead a transactional finance team.
