The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) are looking for a Deputy Finance Business Partner to provide support to the RNIR (Radio Network Infrastructure Replacement) Programme team. This is one of the largest programmes within MCA and this role gives you a unique opportunity to be part of this whilst developing finance and project related skills.
You will work closely with stakeholders of all levels including the Finance Business Partner (HM Coastguard) and Senior Finance Business Partners. This role will give you the responsibility for the day to day financial management of the RNIR programme and to participate in wider HM Coastguard financial activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and diverse team and contribute to the achievement of the Agency’s financial objectives whilst building upon your current financial knowledge.
About you
You will have a qualification or part-qualification from a CCAB/CIMA, or hold an equivalent qualification.
You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across all grades within the organisation. Your effectiveness in building strong relationships will enable you to challenge at all levels.
You are someone who loves to work closely with others and can express yourself in a confident and clear manner through your excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to effectively communicate complex information to others both verbally and in writing.
We are looking for someone who can manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity. You must be adaptable and flexible, adjusting to the requirements and strategic direction of the Agency.
You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel as we are looking for someone who can analyse and manipulate data with accuracy and efficiency.
