A successful, international manufacturing business in Liverpool is recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant following a recent period of growth. With a £50m turnover, this business can boast of an impressive reputation in its market and working with some exciting, blue chip companies.

Description

As Management Accountant reporting to the Site Finance Director, your role will be pivotal in the month end accounts production as well as developing and improving reporting processes within the business. Key duties will include:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Profit and analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Posting accruals and prepayments
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets
• Cash flow forecasting
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Commercial analysis, as well as analysing margins and customer profitability

Profile

The successful candidate to the Management Accountant role will have:

• Part qualification in CIMA/ACCA
• Experience in preparing full sets of management accounts
• Good communication skills
• Ambitions to progress as the role will develop taking on more responsibility
• Strong Excel and report-writing skills
