They are one of the leading players on the institutional side, with a very strong presence in IB and capital markets. They are now expanding their business across new verticals, and are looking to become a more diversified financial services player. Job Description Reporting to the Group CEO, the Group CFO will be responsible for - Serving as a pivotal member of the senior management team and will be responsible for the formulation of the overall organizational strategy and short term / long term business plans - Support decision making by providing timely inputs on strategic matters relating to finance and ensuring financial operations and reporting are in line with best practices - Overseeing accounts, financial reporting, business finance, internal controls and audits, regulatory compliance and taxation for the individual entities and the group - Managing a zero tolerance environment for internal controls, corporate governance and statutory compliances, sharing reports with the Board Audit Committee and maintaining a high quality governance environment - Support in fund raising on the banking as well as capital markets side & maintain relationships with PSUs as well as private banks & other Financial Institutions - Build up and strengthen the finance function and the team, at a group level and for each of the individual businesses The Successful Applicant As a successful applicant, you will be - A qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 18 years of relevant post qualification experience, with significant experience in the BFSI space - Should have significant experience in senior stakeholder management and team management - Must be well-versed with the local regulatory framework, governance guidelines and best practices pertaining to BFSI - Must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to influence and drive the agenda with the senior management, board and external stakeholders - Candidates coming with experience in building up teams from scratch in growing organizations will be preferred What's on Offer - You will be part of the leadership team of a leading financial services player, playing a key role in the growth story of the company - Best in class compensation bonus, with a strong wealth creation opportunity
